Barry Sanders-you're from Detroit

Billy Sims=same

Walter Payton-because he is the best

I'm blanking on the rest and I've now got to go move props for my daughters dance company.  Fun.

I'll stick with HBF's 3, then add Marcus Allen and OJ Simpson. I'm guessing that you like white women and cocaine.

Two have been named.  One correct answer was given more than once.

Nice work...keep going.

Ah no.

HBF has been the most logical thus far.

A couple of "real" pics, then. I'll throw out Eric Dickerson and Adrian Peterson. Both had (or are having) stud rookie seasons.

Thanks.

Let me try at the other 3:

I am assuming that Barry Sanders and Walter Payton each made the list.

First, does that include college accolades as well (maybe guys who didn't do much in the pros)?
If that was the case, I'd throw A-Train, Biakabatuka and Tyrone Wheatley into the mix.  TimmyB makes my list of top 10 simply for ruining the 1995 OSU season by himself.

You assuse incorrectly.

I liked Wheatley, but I'm not really a college football fan.  I married a woman with Michigan Season tickets, so I watch them cuz I know what's good for me.

I was a Dexter Bussey fan, and you gotta love Schles, but not in the top 5.

Simms and Sanders are correct.

So far no one else has been mentioned.

Shit, that's a hook up!

I'll have to figure the rest out, but through deductive reasoning thought Sanders and Payton (two people who listed them when you said that) so otherwise it's got to be Sanders and Sims.

Back to watching Rudolph with my 5 year old.

It's about time for some hints, huh? Maybe an era, or eras we are shooting for?  I don't really know anything about your likes and dislikes, but for some odd reason, this is fun.

I'll say:

Simms and Sanders

Jerome Bettis

Floyd Little

Bo Jackson

I used to love Mel Gray!  He won me over as a Saint, and I followed him in Detroit. Detroit was so fun to watch when Barry was running and Mel was returning kicks. Those were my two favorite runners to watch at that time.

Since I named virtually every Lion leading rusher, I switched to other NFC Central teams. I remember Wilder being a motherfucking machine for a while. He carried the ball a ton until his body broke down. Sort of like a mid 80s Earl Campbell without the fanfare.

Wilder was awesome.

What about:

No on all three, but I really liked the combos of Muncie and Brooks in SD, and Ickey Woods and Brooks in Cincy.

Thinking of the the  77 to present time frame I will say:

Wilbert Montgomery
Ted Brown
Stump Mitchell
Curtis Martin

and I am counting on this one being correct as I dont remember anyone guessing it.

And since Naitch took Marion "no ifs, ands, or" Butts, I'll say
