I admit, I may have been the only person who didn't really get into Seinfeld when it was on, but really? George was funny but greatest TV character? He's like the most one-note character ever. Look at George fail at life and act wacky! Look at George get henpecked by his mom and act wacky! and so on.

I agree completely.

Tough question for me. I don't think I can narrow it down to one. A few in no particular order--- Barney Fife, Archie Bunker, Hawkeye Pierce, Max Klinger, Det. Dietrich, Dr. Johnny Fever, Jim Rockford, Rose Nyland, Fred Sanford, Mama (of Mama's Family), Benjamin Linus.

My all time favorite show. I agree with Arch.

Dabney Coleman's character from the too short lived "Buffalo Bill" was always a favorite of mine.

Johnny LaRue from Hill Street Blues was a personal favorite.

Ralph Kramden should have been mentioned by now.

Currently, I like the "House" character. Something about heartless sarcasm from a Dr. just appeals to me.

Are you sure we weren't separated at birth or something.  I loved that show.

Beavis and Butthead both deserve a nomination, as does their friend Stewart.
