Earlier in the year I would have told you that Cowher lands in San Diego and that Marty-ball goes back to Cleveland. Both coaches (Norv & Romeo) turned things around -- but conventional wisdom says these guys end up in the NFL in 2008.

So where?

Cowher only comes back if Carolina is open. Marty could wind up anywhere if he wants to.

Thing is, you look at the bottom four or five teams and they are BAD:

Atlanta

SF

Miami

KC

Oak

Neither Cower or Schottie are going to Oakland. Schottie won't go back to KC. I don't see either going to Atlanta, either. Maybe Tuna could talk one of them into Miami, but that's a stretch and I don't think the Dolphins will bail on Cam Cameron just yet. I could see one of them in San Fran, actually. Maybe New York Jets? I could also see one of them stepping into Cincy if Marvin Lewis gets the boot.

Dolphins will bail on Cam Cameron just yet

Depends on if Parcells finds his good buddy Tom Coughlin available ;)

I guess I meant "Dolphin's won't bail on Cam Cameron just yet." Anyways, I don't see Tom Coughlin getting axed, either.

That team does fit his mold though. Team that has hit rock bottom. Gets them to the playoffs in a couple years. Makes sense for both actually.

I want Marty here. With Marv Levy resigning today, that means Penis Jauron is on thin ice.

Rumor out here is Mike Singletary is leaving San Francisco as a defensive coach to become head coach somewhere. Atlanta is mentioned but I don't think the Falcons want someone without HC experience. He should become HC of the Niners .Mike Nolan is a dumbass.
