HHH technically since he unified it with thw World title, thus instantly vacating the I-C title.

I wouldn't constitute that as a title reign since it was announced before the match it was being abandoned after the match but that's up to Beej to decide.

Well you're still wrong, according to Online World of Wrestling.  ;)

RVD proved himself as good a champion as he had been before but on the October 27th edition of RAW he rather inexplicably lost the belt to Chris Jericho who was an established big star and really didn't need the title. Perhaps even more inexplicably (from a booking standpoint) was that since Chris Jericho had cheated the win Steve Austin ordered an immediate rematch (inside a steel cage) which saw RVD recapture the title. This exchange made Jericho the shortest reigning IC champion (a minute shorter than Dean Douglas in 1995). While the two title changes in one night may have excited the fans it ultimately served no purpose rather than devaluing the title.

Well according too Hisa's board HHH was noted as a champion, if I read it right, so if you go off of that I suppose HHH was a champion....I just never considered that a title reign personally....

No srossi I think you were right the first time, according to Hisa's site anyway....HHH would have been shorter than a Jericho reign or what not. HHH vacated the belt immediately after winning it so he held it for like a second. HHH should be the answer.

I think Beej needs to make these answers less open to interpretation before there's a riot.

Notice the question mark after I wrote Dean Douglas....I wasn't 100% sure because I really haven't followed anything in depth post say 1996 so my memory isn't as good from that point forward. All the title change crap runs together after 1997 for me when the belts started changing every week. :(

It's fucking wrestling. Even the facts aren't facts. We'll throw this one out.

No, in wrestling the facts are whatever you want them to be.  I want them to be HHH, therefore I am correct.

I just know one of these questions is going to be "Who did Pat Patterson defeat in the finals of the I-C title tournament in Rio de Janeiro to beome the first champion?"  :)
