All eyes are in New Jersey as the Pats shoot for the historic 16-0 regular season. Interesting game as you know both teams would rather rest their regular players. But can't.

I'll list the other big games for tomorrow (or you may do so if you wish to talk about early) but needless to say last night LordAlfredFan was happy as could be with preseason football making it's return this weekend after a four month absence.

NFL Network did the right thing with its simulcast. Plus, it can give Americans a sampling of what they have to offer. Hope Gumbel ain't around.

Great game. Pats look human at times but win again.

They looked superhuman during that 22-0 run at the end of the third through mid fourth quarter.

Fix was in. The Giants defense quit after the 3rd quarter and Sheli took his time on that last drive, not even attempting to get out of bounds or using timeouts. They covered, so Vegas is happy.

Sweet play in the Bears-Saints game: Orton pitched to Adrian Peterson the Lesser to tossed a pass to a wide, wide open Bernard Berrian in the end zone. Didn't think the Bears had it in 'em.

When the pressure is off it is easier to "play loose". Philly is getting fooled by the same "fool's gold" that the Bears fans are enjoying.

All meaningful games are late games. No Monday nighter this week.

The two big ones are Tennessee at Indy and Dallas at Washington with playoffs on the line for the Titans and the Skins and nothing on the line for the opposition. Every year this happens and one of those games a team that wasn't show up actually comes to play and knocks someone out of their "sure thing".

I am thinking possibly Indy shows up and plays for real for the first half. Colts had nothing cooking last week also and showed up to beat the Texans. Heard Dungy say this week that he had no debt owed to the Titans to guarantee them getting into the playoffs. I wonder.

Dick Jauron and Trent Edwards suck. And I think Edwards must suck him off to get starts.

LOL!! You are starting to sound like my dad although my old man would have said Edwards was Jauron's butt boy.
