Not a legal name change but a year ago Dick the Bruiser's wife was selling his credit card receipts on EBay and the name on the card was D BRUISER.

That's a first! I've never heard of a wrestler or wrestler's family selling anything like this. She must be really hard up for money. How much did they go for you remember?

I don't think she's hard up for money. Bruiser was supposedly very well off finacially. She just took to selling everything he had. Other items on EBay at the time were a barber pole, his passport which he used for Japan trips, autographed pictures (Bruiser was a very hard autograph to get), cuff links, tee shirts and a poster named M Dupree over at KM got a recording of Bruiser singing Christmas songs.

The credit card slips went for about $40 or so.

AFAIK, Abdullah's legal name is still Larry Shreeve, but his credit cards all have the name "A. Butcher" on them.

That made my day for some reason.

I don't know what's funnier, the name on the card or the visual of Abdullah shopping at the mall and whipping out his A. BUTCHER Visa or whatever to pay for some food court grub.

I bought his Japanese wrestling license on e-bay back in 2004 for around $105. His wife had some guy brokering the deals on e-bay and he could be a real jerk - he would cancel auctions if they didn't go as high as he wanted them to and, in the case of the wrestling license, actually tried to get me to pay more than I won it for because he thought it should have brought more.

After a while, that guy's account disappeared - I guessed that enough people complained to e-bay about him, but don't know that for a fact.

Edited slightly for visual impact.
