This Saturday Ricky Steamboat will team with his son for the first time at WWC Summer Madness in Puerto Rico.  Their opponents are Orlando Colon and Hiram Tua.  Steamboat's been wrestling a lot lately, including on many WWE house shows.  I never would've guessed that a year ago.

I haven't watched WWE in about 7 years now. For those of you that have watched Steamboat recently, how has he looked?

Aside from the hair thinner and grayer.....and a tad more around the middle....Steamboat has looked REALLY good of late. He doesnt shame himself at all and can absolutely provide believable entertaining matches with the younger stars of today.

The only time he wrestled on TV was at Wrestlemania and at Raw the next night in a Eight? Man tag.

He looked greated. You really couldnt tell he hadnt  wrestled in 15 years.

Yes, he's only wrestled twice on TV but he's wrestling at least once a week now on house shows against development guys not yet on TV, mainly Drew McIntyre so far with a few others spinkled in (and he always goes over).  I've heard he's looked good there too.  I think it's only a matter of time before his son gets signed and then you can bet he'll do an angle with him down in FCW.

If Steamboat looks good in 2009, then he  should of wrestled Flair a few years back at WM.

At the time, Steamboat was saying he wasn't sure he could still go at a level that wouldn't tarnish the memories of the 1989 matches.

Seeing how he's performed lately I wonder if that was just a cover since Flair's the one who wouldn't have looked good in that matchup.

I saw his son wrestle on a WLW show last month and he looked pretty good.  Crowd popped big when he hit those deep armdrags.
