It's amazing that even in 1986 the WWF ran so many buildings that made them look like an indy show more than the juggernaut they were and became.  Of course they had all the big arenas in every market, but there were so many B and C shows in the most rinky dink venues in the most rinky dink towns.

I don't understand why they decided to run in this shithole in the first place.  I'm guessing that Vince was friendly with Victor Kiam, who owned the place.  Victor was a big deal in CT with Schick Razors and politically speaking was on the same side of the coin as Vince.  But in '86 in the Northeast, there were at least a dozen better places to run this.  And it was a "house show".  Why not the Boston Garden?  Or the Hartford Civic Center?  If he drew more than 15,000 to this show, then maybe he made coin (or the fact that the Stadium was unused all summer meant he got a great deal).  But yeah, if this were televised, it would've looked worse than Wrestlerock '86 on TV.  There wasn't a single face anywhere but on the field level.

Seriously, who the hell got drunk and decided to cut the McMahon Family's hair in the 1980's?

Is that Johnnie Mae Young between the Vinces?

I think it's Vinny's Mom.

It's Vinny jr.'s stepmother, Juanita. She croaked in 1998. Im pretty sure Wong was just joking.

Vince's biological mom is still alive. She is named Vicky Askew and is 100 years old. From what I've heard from several different people, they rarely speak to each other and Vicky has never scene a dime of the McMahon family fortune, and she doesn't want too. That's just what I've heard, so I could be wrong.
