The thread on Superstar Graham whining about a CM Punk promo got me to thinking about how perceptions of people change. Superstar Graham used to be so cool. Now he is just a pain in the ass.

Which wrestlers can you think of who went from being "must see" to "Shut up and leave already!"??

When I was a kid in the late 80s, Bret Hart was my favorite wrestler. I made sure someone drove me to the store so I could get the WWF magazine that had Bret on the cover for the first time.
Ten years later, I'm around twenty and my interest in wrestling was renewed watching Bret as a heel, hanging out with his brother, Pillman, Bulldog, and Anvil again. But we know what happened next- Montreal, Montreal, Montreal.

The best current guy I can come up with is The Miz. He sucks as a good guy.

The team with Daniel Bryan has given Kane a new lease on life, but previously he went from one of the hottest acts the WWF had in the 1997-2000 range to a guy you just never wanted to see again from around the mid 2000s to as recently as a year ago. Now he's back to being relevant.

Sometimes guys stay too long in the game. It got hard to watch The Road Warriors by the end. Randy Savage was still pretty cool, although fading, until he came back in 1999. Macho Man was roided out with a weave and his remaining hair dyed an unnaturally dark color while surrounding himself with valets in a gimmick that generally screamed "midlife crisis".

Jerry Lawler as an announcer. He hasn't been good or cool in 10 years.
