I signed up for a free trial for Peacock the other day, but as I already read, the Network is a hot mess at the moment so I canceled and I'll wait a while.
Hopefully pay-per-views get a year added to the name,  not season. And  a good fast forward option.
Eventually there will be a list of stuff removed, back in the old days people weren't happy because the original music was replaced lol.

Over the last day, a number of readers have sent word that they have found edits of older WWE material for shows that have been added to Peacock's streaming service.

The 4/1/90 Wrestlemania 6 event has seen Roddy Piper vs. Bad News Brown and a Piper backstage promo removed from the event. This was the bout where Piper was painted half-black. The edit appears to be why Wrestlemania VI was the last of the flagship WWE PPVs to be added to Peacock.

The 11/27/05 Survivor Series event has seen the infamous vignette where Mr. McMahon drops the "n" word to Booker T in a conversational way, leading to Booker saying, "Tell me I didn't just hear that" when McMahon walks off, also removed.

In each case, it's material that was certainly questionable at the time and has certainly not aged well since. None of it falls under good taste when viewed in 2021. The same material did appear on the WWE Network versions of those shows.

Obviously, Peacock will be removing anything that goes against their community standards and practices going forward, so it should be interesting to see Attitude Era, ECW, territory-era content that pushes the envelope will be handled. One would think we'll see additional edits of older material as it begins to materialize on Peacock.

Before we were married, the first time my wife ever walked in while I was watching wrestling was the Raw around 2001 when Vince had Trish in the ring on all fours, while wearing lingerie, making her bark like a dog. That's a fun memory. Guessing that one doesn't age too well either.

There's probably a hundred examples of things that could be cut under the guise of "2021".

How about every time Ric Flair calls somebody "boy" in his promos on TBS?

That one didn't age too well the next day either.  It was immediately used against Vince by Bob Costas, Phil Mushnick, and all his other enemies in the media.

He very clearly directed it to Tony Atlas and others as a obvious racial insult.  Frequently.

Superstar wasn't specific in his gripe. Flair saying this to Sting is just an insult. If he did to Atlas, I could see it being construed as a racial thing.

In 1992 WCW, Tony Atlas makes some comments to Ron Simmons that should probably be labeled with the disclaimer of: "this content was presented in its original format and may contain cultural references that are out-dated or offensive".

There's a lot of wrestling stuff you could label as "offensive" or racist. One thing that honestly raised my eyebrows, in years past, was on NXT when Mauro Ranallo would turn to Percy Watson and say: "Percy, my man, what do you know about the Street Profits?!"

I just signed up for Peacock. If you get to Peacock registration from the WWE Network, you can then sign up for $9.99 for 4 months, as others have said here. (It becomes $4.99 per month after the trial).
Lots of older stuff not yet migrated. No sign of "WWE Vault" yet.

Flair on TBS was the first thing that popped into my head, because I've heard him calling minorities "boy" for years, yet I'm reaching?  Jesus Christ, I couldn't even care less because I won't be paying a penny for WWE product, but if I'm reaching, talk to me in a couple years if they ever decide to put the old shit on there and then tell me I reached.  And if you really, REALLY thought I was talking about the times he called Sting "boy", maybe you need to get your head out of your ass.  There is nothing at all bad about him calling Sting "boy", and we all know that.  I didn't think I would have to explain that.  I remember Harley calling Ron Simmons "Boy" while managing Vader on WCW Saturday Night as well.  And I think I remember Ole calling the skinny jobber that brought out JYD in '90 "boy" as well.  I can't remember that kids name but he was "shuckin' and jivin'" which Ole probably told him to do before going on TV.

In the flair/Atlas thing flair nudges Atlas's chin and Says "look at me when I am talking to you boy". It's racist. Then tells him he shouldn't be wearing a "honky shirt".

In time you might see those warning statements when The Samoans or Kamala come on. While wrestling fans loved those gimmicks they are painfully out of step with today.
