If Akeem wants to self-identify as an African-American, who are you to tell him he isn't?

Article from The Hollywood Reporter.

The important part: "According to sources familiar with the situation, the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service is reviewing all 17,000 hours of WWE content to ensure it aligns with Peacock's standards and practices. WWE is also being made aware of any edits."

R.I.P. to the sanity of the unpaid interns on this project.

He was stunning and brave, a trailblazer ahead of his time.  Sadly, Akeem is still excluded from the WWE HOF due to transracial prejudice, the same factor that keeps Rachel Dolezal out of the celebrity wing.  Damn you Vince!

LOL!  Seriously, how do you even begin that project.
Does Shaska Whatley make the cut?

the amount of time they will  spend going through episodes with Jesse Ventura's commentary will make their head spin.

You hire someone with a 6 Masters degrees in Gender Studies, African History, and Fine Art who has $1.5 million in student debt and you pay them $12/hr. to watch bra and panty matches 8 hours a day.

Ken Patera will be disappointed. He misses the good old days when white people were allowed to use the N word.

Kinda funny that Vince bought all of this old footage up and now its likely to get scrubbed from existence and or never released due to current social standards.

I imagine some people are going to make a fair amount of money in the upcoming years selling unedited freebird footage.

Vince decided a long time ago that the market really wasn't there for the old-old stuff. Why he kept buying it after that realization was more to just own it all, I'm guessing.
I expect very little if any at all more old-old stuff to see the light of day now, even less than I did before when WWE was in control of releasing that stuff.

The old argument of "Is the WWE the best owners for all the territory footage" is kind of a draw at the end of the day.
The footage is being properly stored now (a definite plus) and we did get some great stuff (AWA House shows, Last Battle of Atlanta, all the other Hidden Gem footage, for example)...but stuff we know the WWE had and hasn't put out there will be basically lost to us indefinitely/forever, as I don't see Peacock rushing to convert old footage that they will likely have to scrub in a lot of parts on top of the conversion costs.

If WWE cared, we wouldn't be getting offered the Rocky Raymond films for $30k. He would've just come in and bought them outright. And for him there should be value because the Koloff title reign doesn't exist in his vault.

Awful Announcing has reported that Vince dropping the N bomb in a segment with Booker T. on Raw is the 2nd known casualty of Peacock's editing. How did they not do that one first?

Who would have thought that this decade would make trading communities thrive and basically a necessity.

In the end some media might be only available in good quality because it aired in other countries where music rights aren't an issue for whatever reason.

Imagine a Chinese version of Wonder Years. (Read this in a Borat voice)
Episode 1: Winnies brother Brian is sent to Vietnam. There he defects from evil capitalist scumbag country USA to the great Communist country North Vietnam. But Winnie and everybody on the block are sad because only Brian was able to escape imperialist hellhole USA
