Malakai Black whispered "You're more than a king" to the unseen hooded figure on Dynamite last night.

In unrelated news, Brody King has reportedly signed with AEW.

Impact used ROH footage to show the Deonna Purrazzo-Rok-C confrontation from Final Battle. Interesting that AEW never mentioned any of their cross-overs.

Josh Woods was on Dark this week, and they didn't mention ROH. When Woods offered a handshake, Shawn Spears said "We don't do that here."

Woods was getting really good at the end there with ROH. It sucks that he’s jobbing to Shawn Spears now.

It wasn't a squash though. A good back and forth 5 minute match like an old Velocity match.

AEW rarely squashes guys. They’ve given good spots even to guys I’ve never heard of. I will track that match down though.

It should be at the right point here, if not, the match is at 51:15

"Woods has been on quite a tear on the independent scene."  I don't understand why the "smart" company is saying shit like that.  He's the ROH Pure champion, he doesn't need to come out with the belt or anything, but that was stupid.

Woods was hoping to get a match with Danielson. I read an article that he said that because when he was training for his comeback, Matt Bloom assigned him to Bryan and said "if you injure him, you are fired". So they worked together to get him in shape for his last really big run in the E. I fully understand why Tony Khan wouldn't want to "promote" ROH, but hell - he should be thinking ahead. This could be his shot at buying the ROH library and offering maybe the Dark and Elevation shows to Sinclair as cheap content or free content in exchange for the video library. And he would make some fresh matchups as well. Pretty sure all the guys still have their belts in their possession, why the hell not try something? Sinclair has been absolutely BLEEDING CASH since their data breach, they can't afford to run ROH right now, so sell the library and then also cut a deal that won't interfere with the TBS/TNT deal that AEW has.

Joe Koff has vowed that ROH will return and they have dates confirmed for Wrestlemania weekend. He said they never said they were "shutting down" and that fans and even the talent were assuming the worst. He still has every intention of carrying on as a normal indy without contracts for the foreseeable future once the relaunch happens, and hopes that this will include title defenses by all the current champions.

ROH Women's champion Rok-C is having tryouts with WWE this week. She was trained by Booker T. so that may help her.

Gresham will also defend the ROH title at the debut Terminus event in January against AEW’s Lee Moriarty. Terminus is the new company that Gresham founded himself.
