Goldberg is coming back! Rejoice!

Plans are for Roman Reigns to face Goldberg at the Elimination Chamber premium live event in Saudi Arabia.

For a bunch of Arabs, they really like that Jew.  Reigns survived leukemia and Covid, but I doubt he's escaping Goldberg in one piece.

Why is Paul Heyman back with Reigns after he Superman Punched him and humiliated him?  Heyman is too good of a character to be subjected to this poor storytelling.

Rick Boogz not having his guitar plugged in and saving the segment anyway, with help from Pat McAfee who sung the guitar parts, was the best worst thing about Smackdown this week.

Meltzer says the Elimination Chamber match is the last on Goldberg’s contract and they wanted to finally have the match with Reigns that never happened at WM due to Reigns taking a hiatus due to Covid. Reigns was supposed to win that match, but the win went to Braun Strowman instead. So right now all signs point to Reigns getting his win and retaining the title, but nothing says that Goldberg can’t sign an extension and wind up in the WM mix again.  As of now though, Goldberg is wrapping up.

The sad part is that Goldberg could have really gone out on a high note if his last match was that one with Lashley last year.  I'd be surprised if he and Roman can have one as good as that one.  I'm sure Goldberg is happy to have the Saudi pay day though.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here. We know that the main event for WrestleMania is Reigns vs Leanar, title vs title, so that means that we know what the results of the two main events are from Elimination Chamber. Has the Reigns-Lesnar match actually been announced, or I am just going off the rumors?

Nothing officially announced yet as far as I know.  This is just what everyone expects.  They could conceivably pull a swerve and do Lesnar vs. Reigns with no titles on the line, or make it a 3-way or 4-way.  I really hope not though.

It would be horrible booking for either man to lose before the biggest match of the year, even in a multi-man match, and you have to be pinned or submit if you don't win the Chamber. WWE just keep making this difficult for themselves.

I think the idea at this point is title vs title. Make the main event as big as it possibly can be. Now what they’ll do with the other title after Mania is anyone guess.

Maybe I just missed it, but I don’t think WWE pushed very hard that Raw would be on SyFy tonight. I just happened to be looking at my DVR for something else to watch abs noticed it wasn’t taping so had to track it down, which I’m sure I’ll regret later.

I was cruising by USA about 7:30 and saw hot blonde chicks skiing and shooting guns.  What's that called? The biathalon?  I've watched less entertaining stuff.  Kept going and stopped on Navy vs. Lafayette men's basketball on CBS Sports Network, which looked like Division 6 NCAA level.  In between, there were about eight channels selling coins and jewelry.  I hardly watch tv anymore,  Not sure why I even pay for Directv, but I feel like there was better shit on back in 1984 when we only had 10 channels.

The joys of the scripted promo. The opening segment on Raw was a painfully tedious 20 minute setup for a crap joke about weed, and Randy Orton flubbed the punchline.

I noticed that too. Every time they’ve tried this horrible bit, it’s resulted in a huge botch. If they just let the 2 teams wrestle for 20 minutes I’m sure it would be good. But that would be silly.
