Fightful reporting that internal reaction to Vince’s appearance on TV last night was extremely negative with almost all the talent thinking it was time deaf and embarrassing. The crowd had very mixed reactions with the cameras desperately searching for positive reactions and finding some, but there were a LOT of boos that were muted and a lot of piped in cheers. Vince was advised by some in his inner circle not to do this, but he obviously is going to do what he wants to do.

More backstage reports from last night say that Vince was jovial and in a better mood than he has been in months. He wasn’t selling the investigation or any concerns and was going out of his way to make it seem like he was happy to the point that it was strange because he’s never that happy before a show. There were no re-writes or any of the usual stuff.
