It was an 8-man and now we’re down to a 6-man due to injury. Dudes With Attitudes are back and now they’re Sting, Darby, and Shingo Takagi. Representing NJPW and Bullet Club are the Young Bucks and El Phantasmo. Sting dives off the top of the entrance onto Bullet Club to start the match with a big “Holy shit” chant.

Backstage, Jericho tells Umino he did a great job tonight and he respects him, and then throws a fireball in his face. AEW has done a tremendous job building this rivalry from a throw-away moment in Japan years ago.

Finally finished watching this today. It was great. Given the final advertised card, this was everything they promised it would be. And that crowd was outstanding. Bonus points for Minoru Suzuki. Whatever "it" is, he has it. No promos, no muscles, but absolutely compelling to watch. Even Kevin Kelly's fingernails on a chalkboard voice couldn't bring this show down from a 10/10.

I won’t go through every other match, but I finished the show last night and it exceeded all expectations. The crowd was amazing. Guys like Suzuki and Shibata got superstar reactions that dwarfed any I’ve heard in any company over the last few years. And by the time you got to Okada and Tabahashi they might as well have been Austin and Rock. Some matches were more epic than others. Ospreay vs. Cassidy was shockingly great. Moxley vs. Tanahashi was OK but didn’t do that much for me considering it was the main event. There seemed to be a botch and premature ending in the 4-way with White pinning Cole, or if it was booked that way it was just awful and a flat ending to a great match. The long-awaited arrival of Caatagnoli was the best possible way to make fans not feel disappointed by Danielson’s injury. The show was just a home run, and the commentary team of Kelly, Excalibur, and Taz was the perfect combination of entertainment while treating the product like a legit sporting event and giving the background on these guys that was needed. JR should’ve sat this whole one out because it got noticeably worse when he joined. But just a tremendous show that some are calling the best PPV since WM 17.
