Curt Schilling filed for free agency and said the following: Schilling said the only team he would not consider is the Yankees. Things are starting to look up now. First we get rid of PayRod and now Schilling says he will not be a Yankee.

Schilling is the type of aging, injured, overpriced pitcher the Yankees usually sign so I'm glad he doesn't want to come here.

Schilling's list of "possible" teams include all of this year's playoff teams (sans Yankees) plus last year's WS teams (Detroit & St.L). I don't want him on my Cubs. If he's such a Boston mark, why even leave?
