Former Dallas Cowboy and woman beating assault rifle nut Greg Hardy fought Ben Sosoli on UFC Fight Night. Hardy used an inhaler before round 3 of the 3 round fight. WTF? That's obviously a major violation. How can that possibly happen? Everyone saw it. The ESPN  announcers clearly called out Hardy. Hardy ended up winning the fight via unanimous  decision,  but I can't see it standing up though. Apparently an actual ringside commissioner gave Hardy approval to use the inhaler. No link to provide yet as I'm watching on live tv.

I didn't see this fight or read anything about it. Inhaler of what? Albuterol? Can't asthmatics be professional fighters?
Is it legal to use nose spray (such as Flonase) to open up your nasal passage before a fight? Hard to fight if you can't breathe due to seasonal allergies.

It was albuterol. A fighter is not allowed to injest/digest anything other than water during a fight. The "commissioner" who gave Hardy permission was actually a low level ringside official who had little or no authority, let alone knowledge of the rule.
