........he ends up being suspended for the first 4 games of the season?

I'm using '4 games' as the number based on history (Roethlisberger)

No. If I'm the owner I'm telling my GM and coaching staff that a trade for Watson or any player who has these or other allegations against him will result in their termination.  Until it is proven in court that Watson or any athlete currently not a member of the team is innocent of all charges it's hands off. Period.

If that doesn't happen and he is in fact guilty, I wouldn't want him on my team.  I don't like guys that have weapons charges, violence against wimmins (even the money grubbin kind), or any sort of theft.  If the guy has a fistfight with another guy, it could be over anything, and fine - the guy can sue for damages.  But if he's hitting a girl, pulling out a gun to threaten people, or stealing shit, he can go play for Dallas.  Hell, I don't even like guys with the armed entourage that has one of them pulling out their guns.  If you have an entourage to protect you, it doesn't mean you can act like a piece of shit so your protection is pulling out a gun because of something you caused.  In this case, it's all females and while this might seem very insensitive I have a gut feeling that most of this case was fabricated due to the time we are in.  Deshaun wanted out of Houston, and somebody wants him to stay in Houston so they ran his name through the mud to make him untradeable.

You could very well be right with your last sentence.  This entire world seems so bass ackwards now that it seems like absolutely anything is possible.  This could well be another Me Too situation where it seemed like any woman turned down by a man in power suddenly had some sexual abuse story from 20 years ago to drag up.  Many would of course be true but IMO just as many were females piling on looking to cash in.

We've seen over the last several years what social media can do to people's lives in a heart beat.  Today people are guilty until proven innocent as opposed to the way it used to be or was intended to be.  And with Cancel Culture all the rage we see what seems like people coming out of the woodwork almost when a public figure is accused of something.

I've had a life long disdain for people who think money and stature, or the fact they are athletes or movie stars or what have you that puts them on this pedestal where they feel nothing they do can ever come back to bite them. I've personally heard the words "do you know who I am"? when some piece of shit with some over inflated idea of their own self importance has committed some act of fuckery and thought they should just get away with it.

One of the problems with society is fewer and fewer people take responsibility for their actions. It's always somebody else's fault. Or " no way would I ever do that", my words or actions were taken out of context or misunderstood.  More so than ever those who have any kind of notoriety are under a microscope. If Watson is  found guilty I hope the courts tear his cock off and serve it to him for breakfast.

I would rather pay as an owner some player perceived as a lesser player more money if that players character is better than what Watson's appears to be.  The codicil being that with any player or person we never truly know what might be lurking below the surface(Aaron Hernandez, par example).

If these types of allegations came to light with regards to a player or coach already a  part of the team I own then said player might not have their contracts immediately terminated but they would not play or coach another game(regardless of the time of year it is) until the matter has been resolved through the courts, should it need to go that far.

I trade for him

if I go 0-4 that's even better. Getting in position for good draft pick next year.

Trust the process.

What does Joel Embiid know about football. He can barely play basketball.

The Birds have never come out and said 'It's Jalen hurts job' and their stockpiling of #1 picks (3 next year) leads to the speculation they want to land either Russel Wilson or Deshaun Watson ton 'replace' Carson Wentz

I was never sold that they looked at Hurts as a franchise QB.

What's 4 games compared to the acquisition of a generational talent?

I wanted him for the Jets for a long time. But we'll see how Wilson does. I'm cautiously optimistic.

They drafted him to be Wentz' #2

They have a 'free roll'. If they play Hurts and he's more than they thought, then they have something. If he's awful and the team goes 3-14 you have either a high draft pick to spend accordingly or three #1s to get what your 'franchise QB'.

Texans still wanting 3 First Round picks for Watson. I do not see that happening.

And the Eagles wanted ‘multiple first round picks’ for Wentz.

Price comes down when nobody will pay it

How about Drew Lock #1, #3 for Watson?
