Today was one of those day where I came this close to going Ray Rice on a woman.

This morning I took the dogs to the North Kansas City dog park. Like usual, I took the dogs into the large dog park and walked around with them. So @ 20 minutes into my time there my small dog Snooper (the 6.5 lb Maltese/Yorkie in the middle of the picture) decided he had to pee. Unbeknownst to me he decided he was going to pee on the leg/shoe a woman in her late 30's/early 40's. Now I get that no one likes a little dog peeing on their shoe, but all she had to do was move her foot and it would have been done with, and I would have apologized for him and asked if there was something I needed to do to fix it.

However, she decided that this was such a grievous act, that she needed to kick my dog away from her foot. I'm not talking slightly pushing him away with the side of the foot, I'm talking moving your foot back to curb stomp. Now, thankfully my dog is ok, more scared than hurt. The same can't be said for this woman and her partner (albeit I limited my response to a verbal attack, but would have put my fist through both of their faces if A: It didn't mean me possibly facing deportation with a battery conviction B: If it didn't mean me having to face possible suspension from the Nursing Licensing board and C: If I had no compunction re: punching a woman. So I took the alternative and tore into them verbally.

It baffles me to no end how someone who obviously owns a dog could go and kick a dog, especially one that is so small that she could have easily broken his neck of back with that stomp. The few other people at the park who saw what happened thankfully encouraged them to leave immediately ( i think more because they were unsure if I really was going to tag her). I probably should have looked to get plate number to file an animal cruelty charge, but didn't think about that till after, which might be unfortunate because if she could do that to a dog tinkling on her shoe, I"m not sure what she would to do her own dog with something worse.

Wow, what a fucking cunt.  You have dogs and you're at a dog park, no shit an accident like this might happen.  I would've taken her info and pressed animal cruelty charges.  It probably wouldn't go anywhere, but you would've fucked up her plans for the day.

Edit: I see you already thought of that, I was so pissed that I replied before reading until the end.

Dog parks are weird places, by the way.  I used to go with my wife all the time when she had her two dogs here, before she moved in with me and unfortunately had to send them to her parents in California (one just died 2 weeks ago, but she was very old).  There are a few different types at the dog park.  You have a handful of normal people just watching their dogs play.  But they're in the minority.  There's people with no dogs that just creepily watch.  There's people who are super prissy and yell at their dogs or others for getting dirty or too excited.  There's the people who molest every dog they come into contact with to the point that you think a bestiality film might break out.  There's the people who are terrified that their dogs will get hurt and stare daggers into other dog owners if their dogs get too close even during normal play.  Just a lot of random weirdos.

Fortunately in all our time at the dog park, we only once had an incident and that was when a larger dog attacked one of wife's dogs, got super aggressive out of nowhere and got her in its jaws.  I wasn't looking and just heard my wife scream, and before I could even react the other dog owner fucking tackled him and got him off.  He was very apologetic and said that never happened before and we didn't make an issue out of it.  I don't want to see another dog get put down or anything because of a mistake, but he probably shouldn't be back at the dog park ever again.  His owner's quick actions probably prevented a serious injury or death though.

Yup

You did the right thing in not attacking the twat, but too bad you did not get her plate number nor her picture to shame her on social media.

That little dog is fucking adorable. Yorkie/Maltese....whats his disposition like? Loud? Easy to get along with? My wife wants a dog and she leans towards smaller than big like a lab.
