One of my favorite musicians period, and this is something I had not seen before.  Hendrix said Stills was the greatest wah-wah player he'd ever seen and I tend to agree, based on performances like this. Check out "Go Back Home".

That official channel has some real gems. This is Winterland 1973 with Crosby and Nash joining Manassas on stage for "The Treasure", a kick-ass song.  Stills looks really fucked up, but damned if he still can't wail. I can tell by his singing he's way out of it. The strange thing is that Crosby looks perfectly coherent.

They apparently taped everything that came through the Capital Theatre back in the day. Most of it is still around, some things (apparently a lot) haven't made it out for everyone to see yet.
Lots of speculation about 70's era Rush shows filmed there. There is one available from 1976 from Rush currently. Alwyas hoping for more to pop up.

That old Rush footage from December of 1976 was from a show they opened for Montrose and Foghat. They played there again in March off 1977 opening for Kansas. Finally in November of 77 they headlined with Cheap Trick as the opener.

The hope is that these two shows were preserved like the 12/76 one was and someday get released or find there way out of the vault.

Hell, Eric Clapton said on more than one occasion that he felt Stills was the best guitarist going. Right or wrong, Still certainly earned peer respect.

I love his music but Stephen Stills is an asshole

Gotta hit us with some details, Grog. Personal experience?
