1. Posting "sayings" like "God give me strength to get through the day without killing my ex", far too many posters.

2. Posting cryptic messages like "you know who you are and you're going to get what you deserve", posted by every woman going through a divorce or bad marriage on FB.

3. Posting thanks and having to constantly gush over their significant other online.  A guy I went to high school with is off the deep end.  A girl I know professionally is certified ADHD and a few other things and I now sort of understand.

4. Changing their profile picture daily. I know several narcissists who do this.

5. Posting pictures of every meal they eat, see, or are thinking about.  The girl's ass has spread probably 24 inches since I met her 7 years ago.

6. Posting messages that they need prayers seemingly every other day, for everything from their husband's drinking and bad liver to their cat hasn't eaten in two days.

7. Married couples conversing online about what they are going to do that day and allowing others to chime in, as if they're all married.  I don't get it.

8. Incessant political postings. I have one relative who is a nutty right winger and out of his mind, and another friend from college who is gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) and likes to back Hillary Clinton, daily. I'd like to put them in a room together and lock the door for a week.

9. Incessant fandom. One guy I went to HS with posts pictures and news of only KISS. He married a girl who will go on a Kiss Cruise with him every year, as their big getaway. It's like being gay for KISS, and, well, they suck now.

10. Quoting "I love my son. Post this if you love your son". Um, no you fuckwad. We know that we all love our children and we're not sheep. I'm more concerned that a person needs to post this on FB.

What have I missed?

If you love whacking off to Bea Arthur videos, you will repost and share this with all of the other fucktards stupid enough to get this 1 billion hits. I know 90% of you aren't stupid enough to waste time with this but the truly pathetic of my friends with nothing better to do will do so.

The ones (typically wimmins) that need constant affirmation. Post pics of kids or themselves intentionally trying to illict the "You are so beautiful" comments and "Too stinking cute" "Love it!", "Your family is precious", "You have not changed a day since high school" comments.

Time to clean up my friends list...you had better validate our connection lest Ye be viewed as unworthy. Hurry, there is a limit to my window of opportunity.

The vague cry for help. "How will I make it through this day?" "Why do bad things always happen to me?" "I hate my life!" And then they get the attention they want with people asking what's wrong, and they say "Oh I don't want to talk about it."

I've got at least 3 guys on my FB who regularly do it too.

Posting pictures of them sweaty from post workouts and talking about being 1/3 of their weight loss goal.

Wait, that was me.

Gotta love the men/women who have hundreds of picks on themselves, but only a few of their kids.

Nothing is gayer than airing dirty laundry on fb. I mean, at least the Springer guests get hotel accommodations and a night out for making a buffoon of themselves.

I'm not a psychologist, but when a broad changes her profile pic once a week, is that a sign of insecurity? I work with one such broad.

11. Sports fanaticism: I have one friend who is so into this teams that if somebody gives an opposing view he gets right sucked into argument, with multiple long retorts and long-drawn arguments, when the original premise was innocuous or done in jest.
I watch Sawx fans bait him constantly and it's actually pretty amusing, but this is a guy who had his first kid at 45. I told him there's way more to life than rooting for a shitty Yankee team, especially when your daughter is going to give your 62-63 year old ass a certain heart attack. And, as you know, I'm a big Yankee fan.

You haven't missed much.  Pretty much nailed it.  I'd like to expand a bit on #10, which is #1 on my pet peeve list.  I've got a few FB friends that constantly post things like "Most of my friends ignore me, so I want to see who my true friends are - share this if you're a real friend".  Or something like that.  Or they have some political message or whatever, and they want you to share otherwise you're not their friend.  I can't stand it.  Some of those guys really have no friends and at first I shared a few of their posts out of pity, even though I was embarassed.  But the next week, they want another share, and the week after that, and after that...

Can't stand it.

Except for one or two very entertaining nuts, I usually stop "following' their feed rather than "defriend" them.
