I was telling my girls about them tonight and they were in disbelief. I told them we bought a bunch of dried brine shrimp in a sealed package in a toy store, put them in water, and they came to life. Seriously one of the most fucked up of any possible concepts to grasp to this day.  Ours lasted for about 7 or 8 years until the murky water was something so gross we just had to toss it, even though there was a living population of them.

How many of you guys had them?

As many comics and mags and whatnot that I read as a youngster, I don't remember the Darling Pet Monkey ad at all.

I don't remember it either - I just found it when I googled the Sea Monkeys ad. It's unbelievable that it was so easy to order live animals back then for just a few bucks:

I remember both of those sea monkey ads.  Of course you get them and they don't quite look like that.  I remember the darling pet monkey ad too, but not the raccoon one.

Does anybody have a stash of old rasslin' mags from the 1970's?

We were just talking about an ad that was in many of the wrestling mags probably in the mid-1970's. It was always in the the last few pages of the mag. There was a gorgeous young 70's chick with different lines drawn to parts of her body. As you moved down, the last line was straight to her crotch, and it said something like ""She will tell you when she wants you to unzip her" or something like that. There was three of us middle-aged guys at the local watering hole trying to find a googled image of the ad but we could not find it. We think there was a black bar going across her topless breasts.

We also were not sure what the hell the ad was selling? A pill? A guide of how to scoop on a woman?

Back in those days, that was like porn for youths.

We were then laughing at the bar of who in the hell were they targeting with those ads back then.

If you find it, post it. It will be appreciated by a few middle-aged guys.

Can't scan since I let the step-daughter take the scanner with her when she moved to B.C. but I'm pretty sure what you are talking about is a full page add for Sex Mates.

19.95 for Judy or Susan.   Two fantastic inflatable love dolls.   Judy or Susan , two tantalizing love dolls can create a new, unforgettable sexual orgy.......every night of the week.  35.00 for both.  Come with a negligee and a bikini, etc.
