Not sure but I did see that they're saying over 3,300,000 voted in Wisconsin..and as of Nov 1st this year they only had 3,684,000 registered voters...does anyone really buy that Wisconsin had a 90% voter turnout? I mean, come on..

Some are trying to say more votes have been cast than there are registered voters.  This is a conspiracy theory being promoted in far right areas and is one of the more easily debunked ones.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/wisconsin-more-votes-than-voters/?fbclid=IwAR0uFdklZD9nDfbPu5dXwzZhWP16j8tSstYyy2AFb_X-MnAUpI1ObPrCee8

Yeah, THAT is BS, but what isn't BS is they're really trying to say 90% of all registered voters voted...I'm sorry, I don't buy that at all...

I'm curious what the highest percentage voter turnout would be in history.  I remember reading it was something like 80% many years ago, but generally a 60% turnout is considered super high.  It's usually around 50% for the country.  If they're counting 90% of the ballots in WI, there's something amiss.  Just no fucking way.

Shit going down in Wayne County. Things getting "heated" according to Fox News. They won't let people in to view the ballot counting and have covered up the windows. Weird.

That's because you don't let people in to view the ballot counting. Each party nominates observers and counters in advance.

So this may all come down to Nevada, which hasn't updated votes since this morning.

Nevada will be even more for Biden after they get back from the tables.

So, far, Trump is calling for a recount in Wisconsin, and taking legal action in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

There are a bunch of people outside the location of the vote tally, a glassed in office in some sort of lobby, chanting "Stop the count!" and generally making a ruckus. The windows were covered to give the people inside some level of peace. As far as who is being allowed or not allowed to enter, I believe the observer has to be acting in an official capacity on behalf of a political party, not a campaign. The people in the hallway don't fit into that category. It should also be mentioned that Trump is behind in Michigan, so if the count was stopped, he'd certainly lose. If it continues, he still has at least a theoretically chance of carrying the state.

This point will be lost on Donald Trump and his inner circle, but he's spent the better part of the last four plus years behaving like an unrepentant asshole. Had he made any meaningful effort to moderate his behavior, he'd have likely gained some voters that went against him in this election while the opposition would not have been nearly as motivated towards defeating him. The sitting President has been a target of derision among supporters of the opposition party since the beginning. However, the motivation and action to defeat a sitting President has never before reached this level and, if Trump loses, Biden's win would be by a narrow margin.

With Biden likely winning AZ, MI, and WI at this point the writing seems to be on the wall that Trump will not win this by legitimate means. Now we're in for weeks or possibly months of litigation disaster as Trump tries to steal it using many judges that he hand-picked.

I'm quite looking forward to that, because either Trump's judges will not go for him (which I think is more likely), or it will basically cause demands for proper reform of the Supreme Court, which is frankly unfit for purpose.

I think so far the Supreme Court has held up well and Gorsuch seems like a great pick for liberty.  Amy Coney Barrett could now be put to the test immediately and we'll have to see if she's like Gorsuch or if she's a shill.  There's no way of telling yet.  But long before it gets to the Supreme Court, I think a lot has to happen at the state levels.

It'll be interesting to see if any of the Republican establishment make an effort to get Trump to stand down. Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker earlier today tweeted that Trump was so far behind in that state that the likelihood of a recount erasing the deficit was so low that it probably wouldn't matter. He cited some recent recounts of Wisconsin state elections in which the original vote total for the candidate asking for the recount was much closer to that of the winner than Trump is to Biden. Then the change in vote totals after the recount was insignificant and did not alter the result. Walker effectively told the Trump campaign, in public, to not pursue a recount and accept the result in Wisconsin as it was then likely to and ultimately did occur.

Chris Christie used some very strong language (for him) in rebuking Trump’s “victory” speech last night. Christie was in a weird spot because he was on-air, probably making a ton of money, for ABC all night and was having to cover the votes in a serious way, and then Trump made his ridiculous comments basically rendering any legitimate tally moot. He was live and on the spot and had to comment, and was probably more honest than even he expected himself to be.

On Fox News one of the talking heads is screaming about how this we now have “dueling presidents” because Trump isn’t going away even though it’s apparent that he’s going to lose. Seriously he said this. The meltdown has surpassed the one I saw on MSNBC 4 years ago. But I’m listening to the tone on Fox News, it’s very telling that it’s over. The liberal networks are being super careful not to proclaim victory prematurely or even sound like victory is closing in, but on Fox some have given up.

The last 24 hours I’ve watched more cable news fan in the last 4 years combined, and I never want to do that again.

The Biden campaign is now saying they are confident they will hit 270 without even needing Pennsylvania.
