One of the worst?  By no measure are they one of the worst.   Do you get your news from the dumpster behind CNN, the one where they toss the drafts of stories that even they realize are laughable?

According to the CDC they have had the 3rd most cases and 3rd most deaths.  That sounds like one of the worst.

Just for fun I used links from Fox News and OAN just as a comparison.  There Florida ranked 2nd in Death and 5th in cases.  Still one of the worst.
The second site had Florida at 3rd in death and 3rd in death.  I'd call that one of the worst.
My I asked my Qanon friend and she said they were the 8th highest state according to the real numbers.  Still one of the worst.

So, what does your research say?  A nice graph would help too.  I prefer a horizontal bar graph in color.

You mean the third most populous state had more cases than Montana, Maine, or Vermont?  The state with the highest percentage of senior citizens had more total deaths than Utah, Kentucky, or Maryland?

Thanks for pointing that out to me.  It'll save me embarrassment in the future.

Nothing for nothing but you can't quote something as fact, then when somebody calls you out on the fact being wrong with proof to back it up, you change the parameters to be per capita.  If that was the angle you were taking at the beginning, you would have pointed it out.  And for that matter, I can agree with you - there are some states that have a lot less population than Florida that are getting sicker or dying and based on total population it's a higher percentage.  But also notice that these same states are the ones that have gone out of their way to publicize that they have no mask rules.

You'd have to be a complete moron to think that total numbers tell us anything when there are such disparities in population.  I discounted that out of hand because no one with functioning brain cells would think they were proving a point by bringing them up.

So what about the difference between "mask states" and "non-mask states"?

This was about visiting a place for a concert.
By your logic it would be more dangerous to go into a room with 1 infected person out of one because 100% of the people are infected, than to go into a room 100 people with 90 infected because only 90% are infected.

So fucking Idaho is the worst state for COVID?

I'd rather be in the place that has fewer cases than the place with the lower percentage with there being that huge of a discrepancy in number of cases.
