I was so-so with him as President but how the country under Biden's lead came unraveled (quickly) with absolutely nothing going in favor of the working guy, I appreciate Trump a bit more, mostly because nothing going well under Biden.

Biden continually still compares himself to 'the prior administration' which in my eyes was a 'C' and not a yardstick by which he should be measuring himself. Biden flatout still obsessed with Trump.

Ever so slightly for the better. He did a good thing by signing the First Step Act for criminal justice reform. It helped with cutting back on some harsh sentencing guidelines and trying to put prisoners in programs which would cut recidivism.

He also truly did drain the swamp when it came to the Department of Veteran Affairs which really helped with vets getting much better health care than they did in the past.

Other than those two things he's still a grifter.

Agreeing with the 'he lost focus' commentary.

When he was running for office you knew where he was, immigration, build the wall. attack the bad trade agreements we had, etc

His final year in office. No plan. Particularly as it pertained to COVID. Thats why he lost the elction.

Although Trump takes credit for it, the huge upgrade with the VA Choice Act was actually passed by Obama.
And I am anything, but an Obama fan.

The only thing he really deserves credit for is finally ending the war in Afghanistan, which still took him 4 years longer to end than promised, and he was fortunate enough to be out of office when the pull-out finally occurred so that Biden could deal with the inevitable shit-show of actually leaving.  But after pussying out many times, he did eventually say we're really leaving this time, and thank God Biden stuck to it.  There was no brilliant "deal" or "negotiation" or whatever his supporters give him credit for, it was going to be a disaster when we left no matter what, and it was, but we needed to leave.

Former President Donald Trump called on his supporters to "lay down their lives" to fight against critical race theory (CRT) during his rally in Florence, South Carolina, on Saturday night.

The former president rallied his base by criticizing Republican lawmakers who have opposed him, and doubled down on his hardline conservative positions including CRT, which is the study of institutional racism in the legal system. The subject has emerged as a hot button issue for conservatives who argue it is divisive and shouldn't be taught in schools. Others, however, say the concept is only taught in higher education.
During the rally, Trump invoked CRT as being a "matter of national survival," calling on his supporters to fight to keep it "out of our schools."

"We have no choice. The fate of any nation ultimately depends on the willingness of its citizens to lay down and they must do this—lay down their very lives to defend their country," he said. "If we allow the Marxists and commies and socialists to teach our children to hate America, there will be no one left to defend our flag or to protect our great country or its freedom.

Yet another thread where random idiotic Trump quotes can be pasted by the one person who still cares. We needed another one of these.

It's evidence of why opinions should not change on him.

Almost no one's has, not for the better.  I'm not sure who you're preaching to.

Anyone that still supports him. There are people that likely do.
