I have no idea anymore. I’m willing to believe the Billy Jack Haynes story more than this. She made a huge point of mentioning that she had to clean up the ketchup off the wall after Trump threw his plate of food. And the thought of Trump trying to commandeer a limo and drive it from the backseat doesn’t make a whole hell of a lot of sense. Neither does Billy Jack leaving a summer ‘87 house show tour to go help some drug cartel with a drop in rural Arkansas. Cassidy is easy on the eyes, so it’s a fun story at least.

I think it's a mixed bag; probably some grifters, some people trying to get into the good graces of the Uniparty, some people are probably scared & might be trying a little too hard to "remember" & Trump might be a bad friend to those he works with. Like most arguments the truth is probably somewhere in the middle but that's no good for TV. Why didn't the committee have the Secret Service agents in question present when Cassidy was giving this testimony? That way they could verify or debunk what happened. Doing it the way they did makes me feel like we will see a statement in a few days from the agents disputing it all but it will largely go unnoticed and certainly not included in the official congressional record immediately following Cassidy's testimony, it will probably just be a footnote buried in the rest of the corrections.

It does happen here, except it's the federal cops and not your local pigs. For evidence, look at the Gretchen Whitmer "kidnapping" case. And I can't imagine the naïveté required to think there weren't any agent provocateurs on the ground during January 6th.
