I'm still friends with a bunch of classmates from junior high (I actually hang out with 3 of them on a regular basis), but I never kept in touch with a single person from high school. Even at the time, I had my own group of friends at different schools that I was closer to than any of my classmates. I went to a private high school and all my friends stayed in the public schools. Plus I skipped a grade so everyone in high school knew each other from freshman year (and usually from years of private school before that) and I came in as a sophmore, so it was tougher to break into those circles and make close friends instead of just acquaintances. Got along with them fine but just never had a desire to track them down and re-connect and I'd have to dig up my yearbook to even remember last names to search for them.
