So this is the answer, and it's not a joke.  Harris-Perry has a picture hanging in her office of slaves picking cotton, and she looks at it every day to remind herself that no one today could ever work as hard as they did, and to suggest that any of us could be a "hard worker" in comparison is offensive to slaves.  She stopped an interview to explain this to a flabbergasted guest and chastise him for using the term "hard worker" in reference to a political discussion. 

This thread was great before AA ruined it.
