Without digging up old magazines, my memory is that the Warriors began working Crockett in the Summer of '85 during the Bash. Can't remember if they wore the AWA belts to the ring, but they faced the Russians on the tour. Then in the Fall of '85, they lost the AWA belts eventually to Garvin/Regal, but they were bouncing around between the AWA and Japan. They hadn't committed to Crockett full-time until Spring of '86. By that time, they were working AWA sporadically, finishing up with WrestleRock '86 in Minneapolis. By that point, that was more of a one-shot. Actually with WrestleRock, I recall quite a few guys make their last appearance.
