1/23/87 was a Friday night. The newspaper ads for the Jackson card definitively state that the One Man Gang vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan loser leaves town match was the main event. The bell time was 7:30 PM. I suppose it is possible the OMG vs. Duggan match went on early and then they immediately flew to Houston and went on last, but it seems unlikely. Since the Jackson show is very thin, Paul Boesch had long established Friday as the night for wrestling in Houston, and the match in question is the only duplicate, the Sam Houston Coliseum match likely took place.

Also, there was a set up for a mini tournament of sorts with Jack Victory vs. Terry Taylor, Iceman Parsons vs. Mike George, and Taylor and Iceman vs. Victory and George if the babyfaces and heels split the first two matches. On that basis Parsons beating George appears to be missing and if the tag match became a handicap match, there must have been a legit or worked injury to Taylor.
