The ad the Albuquerque Journal, one week ahead of the card, shows some of the announced matches with a blurb in the sports section two days before the Sunday card showing the rest. The AWA used some New Mexico locals to fill out the undercard. Civic Auditorium was the venue as opposed to Tingley Coliseum which JCP and the WWF favored. The blurb noted that Jackson Cromwell Brody and Hillbilly Tooter had a big brawl in the area previously. It was billed as Heights vs. Valley to stir up regional heat, probably pitting the fancy part of town against the not fancy side. No results are to be found. I suppose the AWA could have claimed a title change that didn't exist on a card that really happened although it not being billed in advance doesn't mean it didn't happen. By early 1986 the AWA was rife with no shows and rebooked cards with unadvertised matches. If Garvin and Regal gave notice, I can see the AWA rebooking things to have their preferred new champs take the belts.
