Didn’t you ask me about an almost identical situation a year or two ago? I’m not sure what can be done. It’s an internal policy that isn’t being followed from pretty high up, so going through internal channels is useless. I don’t see any realistic way you can sue unless you complain so much and raise such a stink that you get yourself fired and go after them for unlawful termination, and you likely don’t want to do that. But internal policy isn’t law so you can’t do much. It’s really bizarre that they wouldn’t just do courtesy interviews and then hire who they want anyway. That’s what most companies do.

This thread was great before AA ruined it.
