Going to assume Khawk has the Canadian Gretzky rookies since he lives there - if so, if they are crease free they probably go for a grand each, even if they are banged up.  If any of them are near mint, watch out...serious cash.  Also, there are some dealers/collectors that can tell which print run those are from based on colors and other factors such as seeing proof sheets.  Never seen it for any other card besides 52 Topps Mantle, but if you have an actual first print run Gretzky, it’s rare as hell.  Like, even poor condition ones command a premium.  Also - to answer KGB’s question, YES, the second year Gretzky from America had that stupid scratch off hockey puck.  I had a couple of mint Unscratched ones of those once and it was a very tough card to have in mint between the centering problems and the puck that always had a scuff.  In many ways, it’s rarer to find in mint than the American Gretzky rookie.
