 By chance I found a Spanish NYC paper (La Prensa), which might have a good number of ~1928-1938 shows, especially from the smaller Star Casino.  It's hosted on Memoriademadrid.es . Not sure where the search interface it, I just used the "site: " search on google. It might even be helpful for finding out promoters, like here (June 18th 1934)
