So why Amarillo?

After I had put together 700 pages of SoCal results from 1954 to 1982, I was then interested in Amarillo. However, I saw that you were well on your way so I put that thought to bed. I no longer have that much of an interest in result collecting (I completely agree when you say it doesn't merit to be called research). Myself and Ron Witmer put together at least 75% of Cawthons WW(W)E(F) between the years of 1963 to 1974.

I had done over 700 pages on SoCal but it was almost all lost due to a wonkey disc. Yohe always sent Meltzer to me when ever an old-timey California wrestler went on to his final reward. Sometimes he even credited me....sometimes.

I was also proud that I had added about 300 more results to Georgiann Makropoulos's masterpiece in the Bruno record book. Georgiann's original had been compiled using nothing but elbow grease. No fancy interweb stuff. She probably spent a ton of time at the microfiche machine at the Astoria library.

Your work on Amarillo has been majestic in its scope. You went WAY back and went all the way to the bitter end. Incredible job Kriss.
