That was the suggestion when I googled on my tablet for a fix and would have been my first thought if it were an actual mouse. Thanks. 

Since I'm not really tech savvy saying wireless mouse was probably incorrect.

I was scrolling down a page and there was a beep and the cursor just disappeared,

I couldn't click on anything or do anything. Turned it off, nothing when I started back up.

Control, alt, delete allowed me to tab over and do a restart that I figured would reset it but no.

Somehow, the mouse/cursor has become disabled.  I was able to get into "Settings" where I discovered it was somehow disable and reenable it. Not sure why as I wasn't doing anything different than I always have but I have honestly never encountered that situation.

6 year old kids know more about computers these days than I do but they wouldn't be able to write in cursive if their life depended on it. 

This thread was great till Rossi posted that AA ruined it.
