Regis is actually a great choice.  I know these celebrity spots usually go to someone who made a couple of Wrestlemania appearances (Trump, Mr. T, Pete Rose, Uecker).  I guess Regis only made one, but he did MORE for wrestling with all of the guest interviews on his show than all of those other HOFs combined.  Regis sold a lot of tickets for Vince.  

Regis would be a good one for the celebrity spot.  Since Mr. T's induction, I think the most glaring omission in this category is now Cyndi Lauper.
