A black woman was just forced to resign as the editor of “Teen Vogue” before even beginning the job for tweets she made 10 years ago when she was 17 that made fun of Asians. The people who hired her were aware of the tweets beforehand and she had apologized for them repeatedly, but with the uptick in violence against Asians lately she had to be sacrificed on the altar. This is a good example of how quickly cancel culture can shift within weeks, much less years. Being a black teenage girl doesn’t save you when the winds blow towards a more recently victimized class.

Really, “Teen Vogue” doesn’t need an editor because there should only be one article that is published over and over again in “Teen Vogue” forevermore, and that article should be about not tweeting as a teen.

This thread was great before AA ruined it.
