I don't necessarily get the need for mental health qualifiers. Is anyone who plans a mass shooting completely sane? Can't we assume by the action that he was unhinged? Does this somehow make the situation better or worse that he was crazy?
Well because some people were waiting for the standard GOP reply/dodge about this being tied to mental health and not guns.
