I remember the Vince Vance & The Valiants' "All I Want for Christmas is you" quite clearly. It was a pretty big seasonal hit on the Country charts for several years in the 90's - starting with 1993, which was the year before Mariah Carey's version came out.

The record is actually quite good - the (female) lead vocalist voice reminds me just a touch of Brenda Lee. And she's quite pretty, too.

I remember people thinking Vince Vance was actually Pee Wee Herman. (Watch the video, and you'll see what I mean.)
Oh, and Vince Vance is in the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Trying to figure the timing of the lawsuit, though.
