WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut is undergoing a slight renovation as an office is being built for Paul "Triple H" Levesque, who was recently promoted to an executive role within the organization.

According to a company source, the multi-time wrestling champion now officially serves as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's creative advisor.

While Triple H has had Vince's ear for the past several years, it was always in an unofficial capacity. From this point forward, he will have a much more authoritative voice in regards to the company's creative direction and its many performers.

Why can't he do both?

What a guy eh?

You know damn well years ago when he first got paired with Stephanie in that angle and first saw there was some attraction towards him from her he was like "I nail this and it's all clear sailing from here."
Plus I'm sure he couldn't wait to get her knocked up.
I appreciate his work but I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. He's one sneaky bastard, you've got to hand it to him he's wormed his way to the top of the biggest pro wrestling company ever.

On the other hand regarding Trips, he's one of the few that actually got into wrestling when it was still wrestling and seems to appreciate and live the business. He's not a failed Hollywood writer.

There is a thought process that would say Triple H is younger than Vince and is more in tune with the fans. And if he is more of a "corporate guy" (vs being a wrestler) that he might be very good and objective at things. I believe the "Katie Vick" stuff and toilet humor that was done in year's past was along the lines of what Vince likes. So maybe it's not all bad.

I'm not saying this is the case -- just throwing out the other side for conversation.

I think it's a good thing. He respects the art of Pro Wrestling and loves Wrestling from the 60's-80's. He might be able to keep the " sport" aspect alive in the WWE.

i think hhh is a lot more of a traditionalist in wrestling terms than most on the roster

i can't see how having a talent that has actually worked as an advisor could hurt considering the garbage we've been subjected in the past couple years to like the guest hosts and women trying to wrestle

Eventually he's going to run the company anyway, may as well ease him into it now. He comes from the school of "wrestling" as opposed to "sports entertainment", so it's a good thing.
