Almost as impressive as Halladay. The Giants are dangerous. They have very good starting pitching. Not only Lincecum but Matt Cain as well.

Not surprising. When Atlanta doesn't hit, they really don't hit. I'm expecting a series sweep here.

I predicted

Phillies beat Reds in 3
Giants beat Braves in 4

I also had Tampa Bay beating Texas so what do I know.

The Giants are going to be a tough out in the playoffs this year. The Phillies are going to have a tough time with Them in the NLCS.

I hope we can see Halladay vs Lincecum. Talk about a pitching match up for the ages.

Giants are tough top to bottom  with their pitching staff (especially since they left Zito off their roster) Their team ERA  was like 1.70 as a staff the last 5 weeks of the season. Giants problem is they are not a hitting team. Totally unclutch. 3 runs is an outbreak.

Last nites game I thought Bobby Cox lost the game. He walked Sandoval with Posey on second to face Cody Ross who had success vs Lowe. Sandoval swings at anything within 6 inches of the plate. Then when Lowe fell behind Ross they continued to pitch to him with Lincecum on deck. Those moves puzzled all Giants fans to their delight. Cox also switched his secondbaseman and thirdbaseman  to start the game for some reason and that too bit the Braves in the ass.

Here's the story. Manager Bruce Bochy brought in closer Brian Wilson for a two inning save. The Braves pounded Wilson in the 8th inning and evened the game at 4.

Rick Ankiel of all people homered in the 11th. Braves now lead 5-4.

Giants had a chance to win it in the 10th but like I said they are unclutch.

No one should ever get beaten by the combination of Kyle Farnsworth and Rick Ankiel.

Exactly. Glaus did make a great choice by going for the double play though.

Giants motto for 2010 is "Giants Baseball:Torture"

Giant fans are use to disappointing losses. Ankiel is in the lineup just in case he accidently runs into one and that happened last nite. Funny thing is Bochy normally  would bring in a lefty to face him but didn't.
