My love for Boogie Woogie Man must have been so strong that I was willing to forego a kids second favourite night (Christmas Eve being first). I was 10. I remember the JV v Koloff match vividly. Everytime JV knocked Koloff down, he would point up to the glove, look for the crowds reaction, all the while bopping his head up and down. Of course, then when he would walk over to the turnbuckle, Koloff regained composure and knocked JV back down. This happened multiple times. Later on, Koloff gets the glove, raises his arm to punch JV, and JV quickly puts him in a small package to win the match. THE GLOVE WAS NEVER USED lol. My dad, who loathes wrestling, was laughing throughout, at the sheer stupidity, and the fans who were going ballistic throughout the match. One other memory I have that night, is that they were selling 45's of Boy From New York City up and down the aisles. Man was JV ever over. I loved him! haha
