There's a few regular posters who are thread-killers when it comes to wrestling topics. They're so snarky and cynical that anything wrestling-related that's posted usually results in "Who cares?", "It all sucks", or my personal favorite "I knew that last week" (but didn't post it of course). Then no one else replies and that's that. Then you have the opinion-based wrestling threads which quickly degenerate into "Oh we have an insider here" nonsense. Those threads used to go on for pages, now they're shut down quickly by some newer posters who are really poor trolls (read a bunch of Ports posts from back in the day but didn't understand them or are trying to be Tofu but aren't remotely funny) and/or take it way too seriously. So we have a wrestling board where there's no point in ever posting about wrestling even for the few of us who still watch it. That's a problem and there's probably no solution.

The board was named "Sports & Wrestling" simply because we knew that wrestling went in cycles and interest was not high at the time. We do need more active posters though. Not just lurkers. And I have had issues lately that will likely cause me to be away more often than not until Thanksgiving. We'll pull through though I am sure of it.
