I agree totally.  I loved watching these guys team up together.  Perfect heel team.

I would agree.  For all-around money teams, they would be my choice.

Eddie and Jerry Graham would also be up there.  Different eras and styles, but still-those 4 guys could make money in any time period.

snuka looked like a killer with that goatee and hat that he use to wear. does anybody remember why they broke up? was this the time frame on when gordy went to alabama?

Snuka & Gordy lost the Georgia tag titles to Michael Hayes & Otis Sistrunk in Sep 1981. Hayes & Gordy didn't go to WCCW till Oct 1982. Snuka didn't go to WWF till Apr 1982 but I don't know what he did in between

He (Snuka) spent a little time in the dying days of Leroy McGuirk's Tri-State Wrestling (after the split with Bill Watts).  He worked heel.

Gordy and Hayes did their feud in Southeastern in 1982, so freebirdsforever2001 was right.

Maybe not an all-time great team list, but my 5 favorites were:

1.  Midnight Express

2.  British Bulldogs

3.  Tully/Arn

4.  Hart Foundation

5.  Heavenly Bodies
