I saw John Calipari on TV yesterday and He was hawking a book He wrote. The thing about Him that stuck Me the most was that He really had a used car salesman vibe, almost to the point of being scumy. My question is, are most College Basketball Coaches that way and even to an extent, College Football Coaches these days?

Coach K isn't scummy..and I'd say that even if I weren't a Duke fan, he's a good guy and a lot of fun. Roy Williams, UNC's coach is scummy, anyone that refers to himself in 3rd person is a douche. Dean Smith that used to coach UNC is NOT scummy.

I'd have to say watching Bill Self the past decade here at KU, he doesn't come off as weasily either. But you have guys like Tarkanian in the past who you just knew were underhanded.

Yeah, Self comes off pretty good. Kansas got damned lucky when Roy left and they got him.

Roy Williams is far from scummy but considering the source it's all good.

Married Jo you guys got one helluva recruit for the 2015 season recently in Luke Kennard. He's from my hometown and as a junior this season averaged 41ppg and 10rpg. Kid is a stud and will only get better. I'm no Duke fan but think he made the right choice as it's one helluva program and has that small school feel similar to what he has back here at home.

you're kidding right? Roy is a douche of epic proportions, even most Carolina fans dislike him. Don't be such a UNC homer..

Yeah, I'm looking forward to him coming. Duke has a great group of kids coming in the next 2 seasons. Kennard strikes me as one that will stick around at least a few years too which I like to see.

There is a Douche of Mammoth proportions on your sideline. Last I looked, I dont base my reactions to things on what "most" people do.

Yea I've followed his high school career closely since he's the hometown kid.  He's very down to earth and I would be very surprised if he doesn't play until at least his junior year.  I think that is one of the reason's why he chose Duke as well, as they are more accustomed to kids sticking around for awhile as opposed to a one and done.

Get back to me when Coach K throws an opposing fan out of the game because he cheers for his team.
Roy = Douche.
