I love me some Brusier Brody.

I still remember as a kid kinda being scard of him at first when he would come to the ring like a madman swinging his arms, his hair and beard flapping all around and the constant HUSS! HUSS! It was a good Sunday morning when I would turn on Southwest Championship Wrestling or WCCW and get to see Brody.

I never really appreciated Terry Gordy until I got "smart". As a kid who watched rasslin' in South Texas, you were not allowed to cheer for any of the dirty Freebirds. Terry Gordy was always the fat Freebird. Looking back now, he was light years ahead of Hayes and Roberts.

I used to love watching the bloodbaths that Brody had with Abdullah.  They were insane.

Gordy is one of the best workers I've ever seen.  He could work so many styles.  I was always a huge mark for the Freebirds, and his interviews would crack me up.  He had the most hilarious facial expressions.

RIP

Totally agree on this about Gordy. I love it when he stops "sayin' it" and starts "sprayin' it" when he gets all worked up.

LOVED Gordy...and wish that he hadn't gone down the road that he did.  I was a Brody mark for years...but watching his stuff in retrospect....I don't really like his work as much as I thought I did.

As for the guy that murdered him......well, considering what I know about Puerto Rico-he'll probably get elected Governor some day.  I love the island-its my second home.  But the politics and legal system there are totally f'ed up.

Gordy was an amazing performer and as an athlete\physical specimen, Brody was in a class of his own.
