Never a good time for an injury, but they can keep him busy with bad news segments a while.

He's at risk of losing everything he's worked for. He is one of those guys that just seems to get hurt a lot like Ken Kennedy. However, Randy Orton got hurt a lot early on also, and he turned out fine.

Very true on both counts.  It could go either way with Barrett.  Kennedy's entire career was derailed not even by an injury, but by a mis-diasgnosis.  His act might've worn thin by now in WWE anyway, but after main eventing WM and getting a World title or two under his belt, it would've been harder to just throw him out like yesterday's newspaper.

Anyway, Barrett took a silly gimmick and got it super over, and it was already showing signs of petering out.  I hope he can stay in the spotlight while he recovers.  But I think he was in one of the MITB ladder matches, so now he needs to be replaced.

Just saw it. That isn't because Barrett is delicate. Someone needs to tell Swagger it is a work. Geez he rammed him into the barricade and gave him no room to roll and take the bump on his back.

Someone told Swagger he needs to be more aggressive. That much is obvious based on the past few weeks. The problem is, he doesn't know how to work aggressive so now he's just killing people. This is reboot push #3 and it just ain't working. Great legit athlete but will never be a good pro wrestler. Time to accept that.

He clotheslined him to start. That looked absolutely brutal but Barrett survived that. But the throws into the barriers were full force and way too close which didn't give Barrett enough space to tuck his chin and roll into it and take the fall against the flat of his back (I assume that is the proper way to take that bump...someone with knowledge can correct me if not).

Just looked brutal. Swagger just doesn't have a clue.

And the sad irony is he just maybe wrecked a guy that can be a good and maybe a great wrestler and has the potential to make the WWWEEEE some money.  Sucks and is stupid.
