I was the kid who was going to the local drug store or grocery store on the third Tuesday of every month camping out for the new magazines, and at one point probably had a complete run of PWI and WWF mags, and all of the other Apter mags, from '84-'91.

Still, it makes sense. We're in the internet age. Who wants to read news from five weeks ago when you can get it instantly
I bought my first Apter mag, Inside Wrestling in 1977.  The cover was Backlund and Andre.  I would go to the, yes, local drug store and buy that and the Wrestler from money I earned as a paperboy.  Somewhere in my Mom's trainwreck of a house, there are a ton of those from 77 to 83.   I also bought a few issue of something called Wrestling Eye I think.  It was aimed more at smarts.
The time for those rags has clearly passed.  There  is no reason for them to exist anymore.  I do remember how great it felt to get those new issues every month.

I hear there's a full color poster of HHH giving Steph teh anal.

I think up until the late '90s, I did.  I stopped buying the new ones at that point, and sold off my old ones during the early years of eBay.

From 1982-1984 I had Main Event, PWI, Sports Review, The Wrestler, Inside Wrestling, and a spattering of Wrestling Superstars and The Ring. That's what kept me going all week long until 5:05 pm arrived on Saturday.
