#4 the Executioners (Big John Studd & Killer Kowalski) held the belts for five months in late 1976 before being forced to vacate because of cheating-  they were big and mean and scared me as a kid

#5 Superstar Billy Graham & Ivan Koloff went after Parisi&Cerdan for the belts earlier in 1976 but never held them-  I included this non-champion team because they were badasses too

only one will come out of this

The Executioners really were a great team. The masks added quite a bit of mystery to them. Koloff & Graham never held the belts and I think of them as a thrown together combo.

Executioners.

The "mystery" ended as soon as Executioner # 1 had mic time-LOL!  Kowalski's voice was so distinct that EVERYONE knew it was him.  # 2 was a process of elimination..had to be (at that time) Chuck O'Conner (Studd).

Another great team...The Executioners, just for the mystique that they tried to build around them.

Agree with Beejmi on this one. Executioners.

I hate this match-up because they are probably my two favorite WWWF teams of all time, and would like to have seen both move through. As all four are brawling, the third Executioner come from under the ring and posts Graham, and the match is stopped due to Supes excessive bleeding.

Graham and Koloff sound like they would make a great team, but I'm taking the Exs.
